Barton House in Scottsdale Joins Saga Senior Living

Dedicated Memory Care in Scottsdale
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., April 2, 2026: Saga Senior Living today announced it is the new operator of Barton House, a 40-unit memory care community in Scottsdale, Arizona. Barton House is dedicated to memory care for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, with support shaped around individual needs and routines.
“Barton House reflects our commitment to deeply personal, relationship-centered memory care,” said Jeff Fischer, CEO of Saga Senior Living. “Every resident brings a unique life story, and our role is to honor that story while creating meaningful moments each day.”
Barton House offers private studios, enclosed outdoor areas and staff on site around the clock. Daily support and activities reflect residents’ needs, abilities and preferences, with familiar routines and family knowledge helping the team get to know each person.
The community offers private studio residences, each with its own bathroom. Residents receive a thoughtful approach to care that includes:
- Personalized, relationship-based care shaped around each resident’s history and preferences
- Ability-based activities that encourage independence, engagement and purpose
- Secure indoor and outdoor spaces designed for comfort and ease
- Inviting shared spaces that make it easy to spend time with others
- Compassionate caregivers on site 24 hours a day
At Barton House, each day is shaped around the individual. The team can thoughtfully support certain behavioral expressions of dementia, but the community is not designed as a behavior-focused setting. Instead, Barton House offers a calm, home-like environment rooted in connection and daily purpose. Programming is designed to meet residents where they are, with a focus on strengths rather than limitations.
